Day 7 - Zoo day

On Sunday we went to the zoo because it was a nice, sunny day. The Henry Vila zoo is close to town and our apartment and is a free zoo. First we went to the monkey house with lemurs, apes and monkeys, close by was a lion. Then we walked round the lion pen to find two giraffes. Next to that there was a tiger. Next we went to the rhino that was lying down and its neighbour was a tapir which has a really weird short elephant-like trunk. The tapir was coloured grey and black. After that we went to look at the camels, goats, bears and bison. We thought we had seen everything, but we found some snakes, a tropical aviary, an ostrich, otters and capybaras. I likes the otters, but I had a sore foot so I didn't like walking so much.
