Day 17 - Korean characters

Today I will be teaching you about Korean. The Korean alphabet is called Hangul and has twenty four characters. Several characters go together in a block which is a syllable. The first character I will be teaching you isㅏ which is a vowel with an 'ah' sound, thenㅣis a vowel with an "ee" sound. A ㅇ is called "ieung" and is a silent placeholder consonant. Other vowels I know are:ㅓ,ㅗ,ㅜ,ㅡ,ㅑ,ㅕ,ㅛ,which have sounds: uh,oh,oo,uh,yah, yuh, yoh, yoo. A word from these is: 우유 said "ooyoo" and it means milk. I have also learnt some consonants and I am trying to learn the whole alphabet so I can read the Korean writing here.
